WebCharcoal is produced at a rate of one bar per log. You can only reduce wood consumption by making metal bins if you use coke or magma to heat your smelters and forges. Stockpiles that use bins are ammo, armor, bars / blocks, cloth, coins, finished goods, gems, leather and weapons. Food stockpiles use barrels and large pots instead of bins. WebStockpile A is as close as possible to your farms. Stockpile has ALL food types disabled except for seeds. Stockpile A does have the barrels set to 0. Stockpile B Has all seeds disabled. Repeat if you want to add more stockpiles. Stockpile B has no other requirements and can have barrels enabled.
